About

My name is… well it does not matter what my name is really. Just call me Señor Internacional, or SI for short (That is S I not si as in short for Simon).

Why do I call myself Señor Internacional? Well..

1. because I was learning Spanish so I just decided to go with a spanish type name.

2. because I have travelled around on this planet we call earth a bit. Not as much as I would like but a bit.

3. because I feel that I am from no where and everywhere at the same time. I know what you must be thinking to yourself, “very profound”. I know!

Well I have been around (I mean in existence) since March 14th 1980, (by the way, any birthday presents are more than welcome, but not from crazy people sending crazy things).

I am originally from London, England in the UK. And up until around 1999 I thought that London was the greatest place on earth (island mentality), and I never thought that I would leave there. But then something happened. I took a holiday abroad for the first time by myself as an adult. And when I return to London it no longer had the gloss that I used to associate with it. For I had seen other lands and other people and other cultures (although London is very multicultural anyway), and I came to the realisation that London, when put up to the light, and compared with other places, is nothing special. In fact I would go as far as saying that, London is terrible.

Anyway since that time, and many more journeys, I have not only stopped loving London, I have done a complete 180 and started to hate the place for what it has become.

I do not want to go into to much detail here as to why I hate the place, I shall reserve that for my blog entries. As I have a lot of things to say on a lot of issues and it is going to take a lot of time to get it all out of my head. Anyway enough of what I do not like. What do I like?

My passions in life include (but are not limited to), travelling, football (that is the thing you play with your FEET hence the name FOOTball for any US readers), reading about history (mainly limited at this time to Latin History, that is from just biblical times all the way up to present day including Latin America, and Latin languages). I also like to play computer games when I have any time or I am not being lazy. But I hardly play them anymore these days as time, as I have quickly found out, is a precious commodity and I cannot waste is doing mind rotting things like playing computer games all day. 15 years ago and up to the time I finished university this was fine. But now I cannot afford the time. But do not get me wrong, a little brain rotting every now and then is okay, just not like the 7 - 12 hour sessions that used to be the norm when I was younger.

Right that is enough about me. I fear that I have said too much. You never know who will read this. And I do not want to get a knock on my door from no government officials of the UK or otherwise, questioning me lol. So I shall end it there.
